Well, here is what I recommend for casting auditions, and it's funny because I am writing it but I'm also reminding it to myself, writing for you guys on the subway on my way to a casting audition for a film.
So here we go...
A lot of it has to do with money, and what do I mean by that?
You need a private coach you trust and that you have chemistry with. Working on your acting monologues and cold readings you need to have a third eye,
if you can't afford it get a graduated acting student who will follow your acting work and process.
Next, a really significant part in an acting audition is confidence, the feeling of "I know what I'm doing and I am the one who's got everything it takes to get the part" is absolutely important!
For casting, relaxation is a huge part of being confident, everyone has his own way of working on relaxation (yoga , meditation, dance and ex...)
Moving on to the technical things about casting auditions:
Make sure that your make-up is natural, and what you wear doesn't make you look older unless that is what the role requires.
Watch your weight in a healthy way, and exercise.
Everything of course with balance.
I know it takes a lot to be an actor, but you can make it !
Think positive!
